FOCUS Internship

The CSBC FOCUS Program is a unique opportunity that will help young men and women grow in their character, Biblical knowledge, and life skills all while serving the body of Christ in a camping ministry context. The program will provide a time of reflection and clarity for those transitioning from high school to college, or from college to a career. Participants in the program will work alongside each other in an environment that will foster a strong work ethic, challenge them to think about who they are and what they believe, and prepare them for the next stage of life. Ready to apply? Review the qualifications to see if this internship is right for you, then complete the application and reference forms below.

What are the qualifications of a potential FOCUS intern?

  1. They are hard workers, ready to serve.
Each student will be engaged in cleaning and preparing the camp facilities between guest groups and events. They will also assist with facilitating program elements and will have a great opportunity to learn as they work with full-time staff to complete a variety of construction projects.

  2. They love to learn
Students will attend several weekly classes which will cover multiple topics including Biblical studies, worldview evaluation, and apologetics.

  3. They love camp ministry
A student in the FOCUS program should have an understanding of the culture of camp and the ebb and flow of the work schedule – especially as it changes through the seasons.

Not everyone will be a good fit for the program. In order for us to evaluate whether FOCUS is the right thing for you, please complete the FOCUS Internship Application form, and have someone else complete the FOCUS Internship Reference form.

FOCUS interns will receive a $275 weekly salary for the months of September until the start of the summer training schedule, excluding holiday weeks. Housing will be provided on site.
